BOS❤™ · A Caldwell Leadership Platform
Privacy Notice
Effective date: June 30, 2026
This notice explains what information we collect when you sign up for updates about BOS❤™, why we collect it, who helps us process it, and the choices and rights you have. We keep it short and plain on purpose.
This notice focuses on the BOS❤™ email sign-up. The broader Caldwell Leadership Privacy Policy also applies to your use of Caldwell Leadership’s websites; where this notice is silent, that policy governs.
Who we are
BOS❤™ is a platform by Caldwell Leadership (the “we” in this notice), the data controller for the sign-up information described here. We’re based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. If you have any question about your data or this notice, contact us at hello@caldwellleadership.com.
What we collect
- Your email address — what you type into the sign-up form.
- Your consent record — the fact that you ticked the consent box, plus the date and time, so we can demonstrate you opted in.
- Limited technical data — when the form is submitted, our infrastructure provider may process basic request data such as your approximate country and IP address for security and abuse prevention.
We do not ask for, or need, sensitive personal information to send you updates.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
We use your email only to send you updates about BOS❤™ — product news, launch timing, and related Caldwell Leadership information you asked to receive. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box and confirming your subscription. We use a double opt-in: after you sign up, we email you a confirmation link, and you are only added to the list once you click it.
Who processes it for us
We use a small number of trusted service providers (“processors”) who handle data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments:
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) — stores the subscriber list and sends our emails. See Kit’s privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosts the website and processes the form submission. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Slack — receives an internal notification so our team knows someone signed up.
Some of these providers are based in the United States, so your information may be transferred and processed internationally with appropriate safeguards in place. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for others’ advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as you stay subscribed. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your information, we remove you from the active list promptly and retain only the minimum needed to honour your choice (for example, to avoid re-adding you).
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email we send, or by emailing hello@caldwellleadership.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct it if it’s wrong;
- ask us to delete it;
- withdraw your consent (without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it).
For people in the EU/UK these rights come from the GDPR; in Canada, our emails follow CASL; in the United States, they follow CAN-SPAM. To exercise any right, email us and we’ll respond within a reasonable time.
California privacy rights (CCPA)
If you’re a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to request its deletion, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@caldwellleadership.com.
Cookies and analytics
This page and the BOS❤™ sign-up do not set marketing or advertising cookies. If we add website analytics in the future, we will update this notice first and, where required, ask for your consent.
Children’s privacy
BOS❤™ is intended for business users and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or under the age of digital consent in their region). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this notice
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and revise the “last updated” date above.
